Many small businesses and non-profit organizations need help, but don’t know where to start.

Qualified staff can be difficult to find or retain, office space is sometimes lacking and often there just isn’t enough money to allow hiring someone so the owner/director takes it all on in an attempt to save money. The latter ends up overworking the owner/director with every small task, taking them away from overseeing the big picture and focusing on moving the business forward. In the end, the business ends up losing money.

Virtual outsourcing is really rather simple. Most people just need some time to let go of the notion that bookkeeping, HR and other aspects of business need to be done by people who inhabit the same space as they do. If you can let go of that notion, a whole new world of help will be available to you!

"Despite bold visions and big plans, it's all too easy for entrepreneurs to become bogged down by the mundane tasks involved in building a successful business. Virtual outsourcing is the best kept secret of modern productivity."

[ WE WORK VIRTUALLY WITH BUSINESSES ACROSS CANADA ]

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Businesses outsource work in order to reduce costs, increase productivity, fill staffing gaps with experienced professionals and save time so they can allocate their time to other business areas that need their attention.

Absolutely. We offer a full range of services that cover most aspects of running a business or non-profit. We’re here to fill your staffing gaps and address any challenges you might be facing.

For example, we can manage your full-scale bookkeeping on a daily basis or just reconcile your accounts and prepare reports each month. We can fully manage your HR needs or just take care of your staff scheduling. Hire us for as little or as much as you need at any given time.

No! We are not employees of your business, therefore you do not have to pay taxes, EI, CPP, vacation pay or benefits. Think of us as a loyal staff member without the overhead.

Dropbox, WeSendIt, Google Drive, OneDrive, email, snail mail. We use whatever process makes your life easier. For Bookkeeping, we use ReceiptBank or Hubdoc to securely access your receipts and sensitive files.

It’s common to confuse the role of a bookkeeper and that of an accountant. Both offer critical support for the financial health of a business and share similar goals. Bookkeepers are responsible for recording daily transactions, posting invoices and expenses, running payroll, reconciling accounts, keeping a business’ finances balanced and organizing financial information. That’s what we do.

An accountant, usually a CPA, takes the information compiled by the bookkeeper to produce financial models and statements, analyzing the cost of operations, providing audits and completing tax returns.

Virtual bookkeeping allows a bookkeeper to work remotely instead of physically working at a business’ office. Aside from the work location, there is not much difference between regular bookkeeping services and a virtual arrangement. A virtual bookkeeper uses cloud-based bookkeeping software (such as Quickbooks Online) to record financial transactions, review and update statements and reconcile accounts.

The advantages are that you don’t need to hire a full time in-house bookkeeper that may be overwhelmed at certain times of the month and have nothing to do at other times. We are a Quickbooks Certified Pro Advisor so you also get an experienced professional working on your financials.

You still retain full control over the Bookkeeping and have access to all your financials by logging into your Quickbooks Online Dashboard.

Yes, on a schedule to be determined based on your needs. Daily, weekly, twice a month, monthly, quarterly or even annually. We’ll provide services based on whatever schedule that you need.

We pride ourselves on working ethically and strictly confidentially. We understand how important it is to have trust in the company you hire to work on your financials and sensitive business information. Confidentiality is of the utmost importance to us. We’ll provide you with a contract of work, which outlines our confidentiality commitment to you. You can rest assured that your business information will always be kept just between us.
