OUR A-HA MOMENT
We’ve worked for, and managed, a variety of businesses, large and small. We’ve seen how things work well and how things can fail, and why. We’ve made mistakes, learned how to solve them and documented along the way. Our core focus is keeping our clients bookkeeping updated and balanced and ensuring their staff are paid accurately and on time. We also help write business plans, grants, offer HR consulting and help businesses adjust, adapt and explore new ways of working virtually in today’s economy.

Cheryl’s a professional drummer, a two-time East Coast Music Award (ECMA) winner for Graphic Designer of the Year, a former Executive Director of a non-profit cultural centre and CEO of her former design agency for 15 years. She kicks ass at bookkeeping and organizing the heck out of anything and everything. Carrie’s a psychic medium & energy practitioner, a hospitality industry consultant, Payroll & Human Resources specialist, who has years of experience as a business consultant and managing people and businesses large and small. Oh, and she’s one hell of a chef.
We come together as Savvy Lemon, to create fresh solutions that businesses large and small need to prosper. And we have each other’s full trust and respect.

I’m a Montrealer who spent 22 years living and working in Cape Breton. Now between Cape Breton and Montreal, I continue to work virtually with our clients across Canada. I’m a professional drummer, former CEO of OutFront Productions Inc., my design agency that I operated for two decades, during which I won two East Coast Music Awards (ECMA) for Graphic Designer of the Year. I’m a lover of great coffee, music and technology, a tireless seeker of knowledge and I do believe there’s an app for absolutely everything.
As Executive Director of a busy non-profit cultural centre for 8 years, I’m grateful to be running my own company again, while helping other businesses on their path to success. When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me reading the latest accounting or science news, enjoying a glass of wine, or listening to one of my many Jazz playlists.

I’m a Cape Bretoner who spent most of my adult life in Halifax, now residing between Cape Breton and Montreal and working virtually with our clients across Canada. I’m a hospitality manager with a diverse history of managing businesses that range from restaurants to retail to hotels to grocery with a consistent dash of marketing and advertising. My curiosity for how business machines work spans a lifelong drive of creative operational analysis. I have spent almost a decade of my free time providing consulting for small businesses or new start-ups, helping restaurants with developing processes and training.
On a personal note, I am a psychic medium and energy practitioner, and spent over a decade studying to enable me to use my gifts with permission and integrity to help others. I’m a world politics junkie, with a strong passion for Mother Earth. When I’m not working or helping others, I can be found at the stove drinking wine, listening to music and channeling my creative outlet into my love of cooking.
